There are some hotels with casinos--and each hotel offers free transportation to the other hotels if theirs does not have a casino---there is snorkeling and it's great--the water is very calm--you can float without a wave breaking on you for HOURS and the beach is the purest of white..............the people are gracious, thankful and do not beg---in fact- if you go, bring cosmetics even from the dollar stores- lipsticks, eyelines, nail polish and make up a little basket for your maid--it will be worth more to her than money because they never spend their money on those items because they are so expensive there---and make sure you bring lots of pure vanilla extract back home and coffee---a huge bottle of extract is only like 6 dollars- it would be about 25 in the states.....the coffee is awesome and go on their outback safari trip--if you feel like a little adventure- you get to see the mountains of the island--that's where the coffee is grown-- and will swim in a natural stream ---really beautiful countryside......... It's a lovely resort but EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE!! Try Anguilla. Beach vendors and jetskis are prohibited there. Anguilla has 33 beaches, so even in the high season you can find a secluded beach. Families are always welcome, and the locals are known for their friendliness. Resorts include: Malliouhana, Cap Juluca, Rendezvous Bay Resort, Cuisinart Resort, and Anguilla Great House, along with hotels, motels. Go to for more info. You will love it there. It is a very small but beautiful Caribbean island that is quiet and secluded and the Four Seasons chain does the absolute best job of pampering you. I would not put the beach as the best beach ever - the island is volcanic so the sand is brownish tan rather than the picturesque white sand beach everyone wants - but its clean and wide and for quiet and pampering you can't go wrong at a Four Seasons. I've never been there but from what I've heard, Cap Julaca on Anguilla is a beautiful resort on a beach that will take your breath away. If these are on the high side for you and you are looking for something a bit more middle of the road price-wise, try some of the resorts on Turks and Caicos, very quiet and very pretty beaches.
