What’s your favorite Disney world hotel?

My absolute favorite is the Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground. I love the atmosphere and the friendliness of other campers/cabiners. I also love that there is some privacy and space between you and the next family.

I would love to stay at the Wilderness Lodge, the Polynesian, and the Boardwalk someday. But, every time I think I want to book one of those I start remembering Fort Wilderness and that is where we end up. :)

I’ve stayed at the Contemporary, and it was great to be on the monorail line. I’ve also stayed at Pop & PO French Quarter a few times. POFQ is a nice moderate resort if you want to try that out. It’s right on the river so it’s easy to take boat rides to DTD or to other resorts just to check them out. My dream is to buy a DVC so I can stay at some really amazing places.

I absolutely LOVE the Grand Floridian and it is definitely my favorite.
Great service, great atmosphere, great rooms, etc!
You should definitely consider staying there next time you go because it’s worth it!

I’ve stayed at Pop Century and Animal Kingdom Lodge. Loved both of them for different reasons. The next time we go I think we are going to try and stay at the Caribbean Beach. I also want to say at Wilderness Lodge sometime. Contemporary could be fun when our boys are a little older. I think they would get a kick out of having the monorail stop inside their hotel!

I agree, I’d say the Grand Floridian. It’s very expensive, but Walt Disney World has just come out with a new deal that runs November-March of next year.
Pay for 4 days and stay for 7days. That’s for Moderate and Deluxe resorts.
If you want to stay at a Value resort the deal is
Pay for 5 days and stay for 7 days… Pretty good deal.

I have stayed at Caribbean Beach 2 times, and Pop Century 2 times. (My next trip is also booked for Pop Century).

My favorite hotel was Pop Century, I love all the themes and the bus system was MUCH better than Caribbean Beach.

Personally from reviews I’ve read and hear I would say that either Saratoga Spring’s or The Grand Floridian would be one of the great hotels and one I want to stay at.

    I love the Wilderness Lodge!!!!

I have stayed at many hotels! Polynesian, Grand Floridian, Coronado Springs, Carribean Beach, All Star, and Animal Kingdom Lodge. However I have been to all of them to visit. I would have to say my favorite is between the Polynesian and AK Lodge. The Polynesian is very conveniant with the monorail, it is also right next to the Ticket Transportaiton Center, which makes it easy to walk to the EPCOT monorail. I like AK Lodge because it is in my opinion the most beautiful Disney hotel, and has amazing restaurants…the only problem is that going to some parks is quite a bus ride.

Port Orleans Resort gives you the best all around experience. Its great for any age.

My favourite is POP Century (we’ll be there next week actually!). I love the theming and buses and IMO it’s the only ‘proper’ Disney hotel, since the theming is all disney characters. No other hotel is 100% Disney like POP is.

Although I would love to stay at the Polynesian. It looks stunning and I love the monorail. We’re going to ‘Ohana there on this trip so we still get to go :)

I absolutely **** the grand Floridian. I think it’s the ugliest hotel I’ve ever seen and would not stay there if I was paid. Different stroke for different folks. Most expensive is most certainly not always the best. :)

Oh wow, I love questions like this. I’m addicted to Disney! I’ve been to all of the All-Stars, and I’ve also been to Pop Century, Caribbean Beach, and Animal Kingdom Lodge. Truthfully, I could not choose between AKL and POP. They’re both spectacularly designed, built, and decorated. In AKL I loved the way that the animals sat outside of our rooms and we could look out onto the balcony whenever we wanted. In POP, I loved the different designs, and how everything is just more “mickey-ified”. I have a vacation booked for me and 3 friends for the august after we graduate. We’re going to be staying at POP thanks to me ha ha

If I could choose one hotel to go stay at, I would choose the Polynesian. It looks amazing. My family and I went to O’Hana last year and the place looked stunning. It was a fun time and I would do it again(even though we were rained out last time). I love Disney, throw me in any hotel and I will be happy :)
