You can do the water parks in a day, but definitely take a full day for each regular park. Don’t do the park hopper. It takes up to much time moving from park to park and it’s more fun waking up every day and knowing you’re not gonna see the same stuff you saw already. About the first part- i’m sorry i’ve never stayed there but i’ve been inside and i know you will be very happy with it!

Actually Yeah Chem may be right, because it was a really slow time when we went and also we didn’t “re-ride” stuff. Just depends on how much ya like water parks.

We enjoyed North Trinidad. It is adjacent to a bus stop, and has its own pool.

In my experience, one day is NOT enough for both water parks.
Both of them have plenty of rides and things to do that can fill almost an entire day. Plus, with waiting in lines, doing both in a day will affect which rides you go on.
For example, at Typhoon Lagoon there is Crush n’ Gusher, which is an amazing water slide, but there are three different paths to take, and you’re going to want to try all three…and even re-ride them. When I was there my friend and I spent at least an hour riding them (not including waiting in line).
They also have to snorkeling experience where you get to swim with tropical fish, sharks, and rays.
Their wave pool is simply amazing, and you can spend hours in there.
There are also a lot more water slides that are just a ton of fun, and little paths up and around the mountain that are nice to walk along and take everything in.

Have a great time. We have stayed at several resorts. The best was the anmal kingdom resort. When we woke up there were giraffes outside our window. As for the water parks I did not find them up to par with other parks. White water is much much better. But the parks in general are really cool.
The animal kingdom is the best park with epcot a close second. Magic kingdom is geared towards your sister but the others have a good combination for everyone to enjoy.
Be sure and stay out to see the fireworks. Each park has them with Expcot being the best, and magic Kingdom next. Be sure and take advantage of the system for avoiding the lines. It is worth it. Some one has to jog ahead and get tickets.
Also a nice treat is Downtown Disneys’ Game Emporium. I forget the name, but it has 5 floors of video games and 3-D ride games. I am an old guy and I enjoyed it as much as my kids. They are 14 and 9. Your parents will also enjoy the food there.
Have a wonderful trip to florida.
