Given the choice I would rent a small villa there. Gibney Cottage is right on the beach,gorgeous. Not as luxurious but RIGHT on the water, look it up, ask for Teri! She is great, tell her Nina says hi! The local taxi drivers need chatting up but can be friendly. It is lovely there, taxi service stops early so beware. ENJOY!!! I lived in St John USVI for 5 years.
