I have been a to a couple places in
the caribbean, but I like Mexico best, playa del carmen. We stayed at the parasio del sol it was beautiful. If you really want to do the caribbean, you can definiteley afford the dominican republic it is very reasonably priced. The resorts are beautiful there but not much to do off the resort in punta cana, but you will still enjoy it. The best and cheapest place to book caribbean and mexican vacations is through sunfinder.com hope this helps.
